Dutchtown, MO (October 22, 2022) – A traffic collision occurred in Cape Girardeau County that left two people injured. At around 7:24 a.m., on October 20, the Missouri State Highway Patrol was dispatched to the scene of an accident on Missouri State Route 25.
Reports from local law enforcement show that a 2005 Chrysler 300 crashed into the rear of a 2012 Hyundai Santa Fe on Missouri State Route 25 just one mile south of Dutchtown, Missouri. The force of the collision sent the Hyundai crashing into the rear or a 2005 Chrysler 300. All three vehicles suffered extensive damage.
Two people were hurt in the crash. The victims were identified as 18-year-old Traci Henry and 38-year-old Lora Jefferson. The victims were transported to St Francis Medical Center, where they underwent treatment for their injuries.
The crash remains under investigation at this time.
