Eldridge, MO (October 7, 2022) – A 45-year-old man was transported to Mercy Hospital in Lebanon, Missouri, following a crash that took place in Laclede County. At around 5:30 p.m., on October 4, the Missouri State Highway Patrol was dispatched to the site of a crash that took place on Highway 5.
According to local news sources, a 1997 Chevrolet Silverado and a 2007 Chevrolet Silverado were both traveling on Highway 5 during the evening hours. For unknown reasons, a load on the back of the 1997 Chevrolet fell into the roadway. It was then struck by the 2007 Chevrolet.
One person involved in the accident, 45-year-old James Fohn, of Eldridge, Missouri, was injured in the accident. He was transported by Mercy ambulance to Mercy Hospital in Lebanon, Missouri, where he underwent treatment for his injuries.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol is conducting a crash investigation at this time.
