Franklin, MO (October 15, 2022) – A motor vehicle accident reported in Franklin County left an 84-year-old woman injured. At around 3:10 p.m., on October 13, emergency crews were notified that a crash took place on Route K.

According to local law enforcement, a 1999 Chevrolet Tahoe collided with a 2018 Chevrolet Silverado on Route K in the area near Shady Beach Lane. Both vehicles had to be towed from the scene of the accident due to the damage that they suffered.

An 84-year-old woman involved in the accident, identified as Betty Reed of St. Clair, Missouri, suffered injuries in the crash. She was transported by St. Clair Ambulance to Missouri Baptist Sullivan Hospital, where she underwent emergency care.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol is actively investigating the collision at this time.
