Jefferson, MO – Two Fords Collide on Route M near Moss Hollow Rd, One Injured

Jefferson, MO (October 18, 2022) – A traffic collision took place in Jefferson County that left a 68-year-old man injured. On October 16, the Missouri State Highway Patrol was notified that a crash occurred on Route M.

At around 4:10 p.m., a 2004 Ford F150 pickup truck and a 2012 Ford F150 pickup truck both collided on Route M at the intersection of Moss Hollow Road. The two vehicles were totaled as a result of the accident. Both vehicles had to be removed from the scene.

The driver of the 2012 Ford, identified as 68-year-old Richard McElfresh of St. Clair, Missouri, suffered injuries in the accident. He was transported to Mercy Hospital South by Rock Township ambulance, where he underwent medical care.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol is currently investigating the circumstances surrounding this vehicle collision at this time.
