Jefferson, MO (October 28, 2022) – A traffic incident took place in Jefferson County that left two people injured. At around 7:10 a.m., on October 26, troopers with the Missouri State Highway Patrol responded to a crash that took place on Seckman Road.
According to local news sources, a 2014 jeep Cherokee was stopped on the westbound side of Sackman Road while preparing to make a left turn onto summer circle. For unknown reasons, the driver of a 2012 Honda CRV, 19-year-old Maxwell Kimbrough, failed to notice the stopped vehicle. As a result, the Honda crashed into the rear of the Jeep.
Two people in the Jeep, identified as the driver, 57-year-old Celestina Mees of St. Louis, Missouri, and her passenger, 59-year-old Maria Celestina Vasquez of Imperial, Missouri, were both injured. The two versions are transported by Rock Township Ambulance District to Mercy Hospital South, where they were treated for their injuries.
The crash remains under investigation at this time.
