Johnson, MO – Ronald Wyatt, Bonnie Wyatt & Teen Injured in Auto Accident on Route DD at Highway 13

Johnson, MO (October 31, 2022) – A traffic collision took place in Johnson County that resulted in injuries for multiple people. At around 5:15 p.m., on October 30, the Missouri State Highway Patrol responded to a crash on Highway 13.

According to local law enforcement, the driver of a 2003 Ford Mustang recklessly accelerated out of the roundabout located on route DD just south of Highway 13. As a result, the vehicle collided with a 2006 Buick Encore head-on. Both vehicles were totaled in the crash.

The driver of the Ford, a 16-year-old male, suffered injuries in the crash. He was transported to Western Missouri Hospital. Two people in the Buick suffered serious injuries as a result of the crash. The two victims, 64-year-old Bonnie Wyatt and 68-year-old Ronald Wyatt, were both rushed by EMS to Western Missouri Hospital, where they underwent emergency treatment.

The crash remains under investigation at this time.
