Kansas City, MO – Karen Harris Injured after Two Chevrolets Collide on I-35 Ramp to I-435

Kansas City, MO (October 21, 2022) – A traffic incident took place in the Kansas City area that left a woman seriously injured. At around 8:25 p.m., on October 19, emergency crews were called to the scene of a crash on Interstate 35.

According to reports provided by the Missouri State Highway Patrol, a 2002 Chevrolet collided with a 2018 Chevrolet on the northbound side of Interstate 35 at the ramp to northbound Interstate 435. During the process, the 2002 Chevrolet also collided with a concrete barrier before coming airborne and landing on the road below.

One woman involved in the accident, 64-year-old Karen Harris of Kansas City, Missouri, suffered serious injuries in the crash. Harris was transported by Kansas City Fire to North Kansas City Hospital, where she underwent emergency medical treatment.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol is investigating the crash at this time.
