Kansas City, MO – Pawel Rajtar & Georgette Thompson Injured in Three-Vehicle Wreck on US-169 near I-29

Kansas City, MO (October 20, 2022) – A traffic incident took place in Clay County that left two people with moderate injuries. On October 18, emergency crews were called to the scene of a crash on US Highway 169.

At around 3:40 p.m., calls for assistance came in surrounding a crash that occurred on the northbound side of the highway. According to reports, a 2019 Ford F1 50 pickup truck crashed into the rear of a 2006 Volkswagen beetle just south of Interstate 29. The Ford also struck the rear of a 2006 Ford 500. The Ford F1 50 then struck a concrete barrier and overturned.

Two drivers involved in the traffic incident were injured. A local ambulance transported 36-year-old Pawel Rajtar and 60-year-old Georgiana Thompson to North Kansas City Hospital, where they underwent emergency treatment for their injuries.

The incident remains under investigation at this time by the Missouri State Highway Patrol.
