Knob Noster, MO – Two Injured in Auto Accident on US-50 near Route P

Knob Noster, MO (October 29, 2022) – A traffic incident took place in Johnson County that ended in injuries, according to crash reports provided by the Missouri State Highway Patrol. On October 26, troopers were called to the scene of a crash on US Highway 50.

Preliminary investigations into the collision show that just after 8:10 p.m., a 2013 Dodge avenger passed a 2018 Jeep on US Highway 50 just east of Route P. For reasons unknown, the two vehicles collided near the centerline. The impact of the collision caused the dogs to slide off the right side of the roadway and overturn.

Two people suffered injuries due to the crash. EMS responded to the scene and rendered aid to 18-year-old De Nysha Brame and 57-year-old Laura Monsees. Brame was then transported by JCAD to Western Missouri Medical Center, where she underwent treatment for her injuries.

The collision remains under investigation at this time.
