Lincoln, MO – Joseph Myers Injured in Auto Wreck on Route W near Mansion Rd

Lincoln, MO (October 14, 2022) – A traffic collision took place in Lincoln County that left one man seriously injured. At around 7:40 p.m., on October 12, the Missouri State Highway Patrol responded to a crash on Route W.

According to local law enforcement, a 2001 Mercury Grand Marquis was traveling north on Route W. At the same time, a 1995 Jeep Wrangler was traveling southbound on the same roadway. For unknown reasons, the Marquis’s crossed over the center line and struck the front of the Jeep near the intersection of Mansion Road. The impact of the crash caused the Jeep to go off the right side of the roadway, where it began to overturn and eject the driver.

The driver of the Jeep, 34-year-old Joseph Myers of Foley, Missouri, suffered serious injuries. Myers was transported to Mercy Hospital St. Louis by Lincoln County ambulance, where he underwent emergency care.

At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
