Maryville, MO – Three Injured in Two-Vehicle Crash on US-136

Maryville, MO (October 31, 2022) – A traffic incident took place in Nodaway County that left three people injured. On October 29, at around 11:10 a.m., the Missouri State Highway Patrol was dispatched to a collision on US Highway 136.

Preliminary investigations surrounding the accident show that in 2022 Honda passport and a 2005 Toyota Avalon were both traveling east on US Highway 136. For reasons unknown, the

Toyota failed to yield to the Honda. As a result, the two vehicles became involved in a rear-end collision. Both vehicles went off the south side of the roadway as a result of the collision.

Three people suffered injuries in the crash. The victims were identified as 33-year-old Kyle Miller, 58-year-old Loreena Amlong, and 62-year-old Katheryn Miller. The three victims were transported by Nodaway County EMS to Mosaic Hospital in Maryville, Missouri, where they were treated for their injuries.

The crash remains under investigation.
