Truck Accidents in Missouri
Each year, crashes across the state of Missouri leave tens of thousands of innocent drivers and passengers harmed. Unfortunately, no matter how careful a person is, they can never prevent other drivers from engaging in reckless actions.
One of the most common types of car accidents that we see in Missouri is rear-end collisions. These often happen when one driver is following another too closely, and they may not have enough time to stop if the lead driver brakes suddenly. They can also occur if one driver backs up into another vehicle.
Another common type of accident is sideswipe collisions, which happen when two vehicles are attempting to pass each other on the road and they sideswipe each other. These types of accidents can often be prevented if drivers use their turn signals to indicate their intention to pass.
Finally, we occasionally see head-on collisions in Missouri. These are the most serious type of car accidents, as they often involve high speeds and can result in severe injuries or even fatalities. Head-on collisions are typically caused by one driver crossing over the centerline into oncoming traffic, or by a driver making a left turn in front of oncoming traffic.
People who are involved in accidents are often left with severe injuries that demand medical attention immediately. Unfortunately, the cost of care can be significant. Adding the cost of medical treatment to the fact that drivers are unable to work after their accidents can create significant financial challenges for both victims and their families. If you have been hurt as a result of an accident, a car accident lawyer in Meramec Township can help you get justice.
