Miller, MO (October 20, 2022) – Authorities in Miller County were dispatched to the scene of a traffic incident that left two people injured. At around 8:35 a.m., on October 19, calls for assistance were received by the Missouri State Highway Patrol regarding a traffic wreck on Missouri State Route 42.

Reports from local authorities show that driver of a 2003 Buick LaSabre attempted to negotiate a left turn on Missouri State Route 42 at the intersection of Brown Homestead Road when the vehicle went into the path of a 2016 Toyota Tacoma, causing them to collide. Both vehicles were severely damaged due to the accident.

The drivers of both vehicles suffered injuries. EMS transported 23-year-old Brooke Patton and 33-year-old Monica Moranda, both of Brumley, Missouri, to Lake Regional Hospital, where they underwent treatment for their injuries.

The circumstances surrounding the crash are under investigation at this time.
