Morehouse, MO – One Injured in Two-Vehicle Crash on US-60 near MO-114

Morehouse, MO (October 27, 2022) – A traffic incident took place in Stoddard County that left one man injured. At around 6:45 a.m., on October 25, troopers with the Missouri State Highway Patrol responded to the scene of a crash on US Highway 60.

According to MSHP, a collision between a 2016 Ford F350 and a 2015 Jeep Cherokee occurred on US Highway 60 at the intersection of Missouri State Route 114 after the driver of the Ford crossed into the path of the Jeep. The Jeep was totaled as a result of the accident and had to be removed from the scene.

The driver of the Jeep, 72-year-old Terry Hood of Dexter, Missouri, suffered injuries in the crash. Hood was transported to Southeast Hospital in Dexter, Missouri, where he was treated for his injuries.

The circumstances surrounding the collision are under investigation at this time.
