New Hampton, MO (October 17, 2022) – A crash took place in Harrison County that left a man with moderate injuries on Saturday evening. At 4 p.m., on October 15, troopers with the Missouri State Highway Patrol were notified that a crash occurred on US Highway 136 in the New Hampton, Missouri, area.

According to local law enforcement, a 2014 Peterbilt truck tractor-trailer was traveling eastbound on US Highway 136 while hauling a combine on a flatbed. For unknown reasons, a wheel on the trailer crossed over the center line and struck a 2003 Ford Excursion. The Ford was totaled in the crash.

The driver of the Ford, 41-year-old Ronald Chadwick of Albany, Missouri, suffered moderate injuries as a result of the collision. Chadwick was transported to Mosaic Hospital in Albany, Missouri, by Grand River EMS.

At this time, the circumstances surrounding this truck accident are under investigation by the Missouri State Highway Patrol and the Gentry County Sheriff’s Department.
