Car Accidents in Missouri

Renick, MO – Michelle Cullifer Injured in Auto Wreck on US-63 near BUS-63Countless innocent people across the state of Missouri are left injured due to crashes every single year. Many accidents involve negligent and reckless drivers. There are several factors that contribute to many accidents that take place in our state each year. These include:

  • Distracted driving: This is one of the most common causes of traffic collisions across the country, and Missouri is no exception. When drivers are distracted by their phones, passengers, or anything else inside the car, they’re not paying attention to the road and are more likely to get into an accident.
  • Speeding: Unfortunately, many people choose to ignore speed limits and drive too fast for conditions. This can lead to serious accidents.
  • Driving under the influence: Drunk driving often leads to devastating accidents. People who are impaired often are unable to maintain control of their vehicle in order to stay in their lane or stop from striking other vehicles
  • Poor road conditions: Missouri roads can be dangerous, especially in winter when they’re covered in ice and snow. Be extra careful when driving on them and watch out for potholes, debris, and other hazards.
  • Mechanical issues: Sometimes car accidents happen because something goes wrong with the vehicle itself. If you’re having car trouble, get it fixed before getting back on the road.
