Republic, MO – Lee Arends, Dayle Arends & Coleen Cook Injured in Auto Accident on Republic Rd

Republic, MO (October 28, 2022) – A traffic incident reported in Greene County left three people injured. On October 26, the Missouri State Highway Patrol responded to a crash on Republic Road.

At around 4:40 p.m., a crash involving a 2013 Mercedes C300 and a 2013 Mazda CX5 occurred on Republic Road near the east city limits. Both vehicles were severely damaged in the accident and had to be towed from the scene.

Three people in the Mazda, identified as 94-year-old Lee Arends, 85-year-old Dayle Arends, and 61-year-old Coleen Cook, all of Springfield, Missouri, were injured. The three victims were transported by EMS to Cox South Hospital in Springfield, Missouri, where they were treated for moderate injuries.

Investigations are underway at this time.
