Rock Port, MO – Kristen Kalbfleisch Injured in Truck Crash on I-29 near MM 112

Rock Port, MO (October 15, 2022) – A traffic incident took place in Atchison County that left one woman seriously injured. At around 11:30 a.m., on October 14, emergency crews were called to the site of a crash that occurred on Interstate 29.

According to reports, a 2007 Ford Escape and a 2019 Mack Truck Anthem were both traveling south on Interstate 29. As the Ford began to slow for traffic near the 112-mile marker, it was struck in the rear by the Mack truck. The truck then went off the side of the roadway and overturned.

The driver of the Ford, 29-year-old Kristen Kalbfleisch of Lincoln, Nebraska, was injured in the accident. She was transported by Atchison Holt Ambulance to Mosaic Life Care in St Joseph, Missouri, for the treatment of serious injuries.

MSHP is investigating the crash at this time.
