Spring City, MO – Four Injured in Two-Vehicle Crash on MO-86

Spring City, MO (October 24, 2022) – Authorities in Newton County responded to the scene of a two-vehicle accident that left several people injured. On October 21, the Missouri State Highway Patrol was notified that a crash occurred on Missouri State Route 86.

At around 5:15 p.m., a 2012 Dodge Ram 2500 pickup truck drove into the path of the 2016 Dodge Ram 1500 pickup truck. As a result, the two vehicles were involved in a T-bone collision. Both vehicles were significantly damaged due to the accident.

Four people inside of the 2016 Dodge suffered injuries in the crash. The victims were identified as 52-year-old Terry Wilson, 34-year-old Amanda Massey, and two juvenile males, ages 10 and 12. All four victims were transported to Mercy Hospital in Joplin, Missouri, where they were treated for their injuries.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol is investigating the crash at this time.
