St Charles, MO (October 11, 2022) – A 40-year-old man from Defiance, Missouri, was transported to SSM Health DePaul Hospital for the treatment of injuries following a crash that took place in St. Charles County on Monday morning. On October 10, troopers with the Missouri State Highway Patrol responded to a crash on Interstate 70.

Just after 9 a.m., a collision between a 2009 Chevrolet HH are in a 2012 Ford F150 pickup truck took place on the eastbound side of Interstate 70 just west of Mid Rivers Mall Drive. The Chevrolet suffered extensive damage as a result of the crash.

The driver of the Chevrolet, 40-year-old Matthew Davis, suffered injuries in the crash. Davis was transported by St. Charles County Ambulance District to SSM Health DePaul Hospital, where he was treated for his injuries.

The crash remains under investigation at this time.
