St Charles, MO – Erin Herter Injured in Auto Wreck on US-61 near Route W

St Charles, MO (October 22, 2022) – An auto wreck occurred in the St Charles area that left a 41-year-old woman injured. At around 6:55 a.m., on October 20, calls for assistance came in surrounding an accident on US Highway 61.

Reports from the Missouri State Highway Patrol indicate that a 2005 Chevrolet Malibu failed to yield the right of way to a 2017 Jeep Wrangler on the southbound side of US Highway 61 near Route W. As a result, the vehicle collided with a 2017 Jeep Wrangler. Both vehicles were totaled in the crash.

The driver of the Jeep, 41-year-old Erin Herter of Moscow Mills, Missouri, was injured in the crash. She was transported to Mercy Hospital in St Louis, Missouri, for further care.

The crash remains under investigation at this time.
