St Charles, MO (October 25, 2022) – A man and woman were left injured as a result of a motor vehicle accident that occurred on Monday morning in St. Charles County. Just before 3:45 a.m., on October 24, troopers with the Missouri State Highway Patrol responded to a crash on Interstate 94.
Preliminary investigation shows that a 1972 Leyland Midget was stopped on the eastbound side of Interstate 94 at a steady red signal. Unfortunately, the vehicle was struck in the rear by a 2018 Toyota RAV4 near Florence Drive. Both vehicles were severely damaged as a result of the crash.
Both drivers were hurt in the accident. St. Charles County Ambulance District responded to the scene and rendered aid to 57-year-old Glenn Frasca of Weldon Springs, Missouri, and 64-year-old Lori Taylor of St. Charles, Missouri. Frasca was then transported to Mercy Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri, where he was treated for minor injuries. Taylor was transported to SSM Health at St. Joseph Hospital in Lake St. Louis, Missouri, where she was treated for moderate injuries.
Investigations into the collision are underway at this time.
