St Charles, MO – One Hurt in Two-Vehicle Wreck on I-70 near the Blachette Bridge

St Charles, MO (October 22, 2022) – A traffic incident took place in St Charles County that left a teenage male injured. At around 3:40 p.m., on October 21, calls for help came in surrounding a collision on Interstate 70.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, a 2022 Cadillac XT4 was stopped in traffic due to congestion on the westbound side of Interstate 70 near the Blanchette Bridge. For unknown reasons, a 2007 Ford Ranger crashed into the rear end of the Cadillac.

A 17-year-old male passenger in the Cadillac, who was from Wentzville, Missouri, suffered injuries in the crash. He was transported by Pattonville Fire Protection District to SSM St Joseph Hospital East, where he was treated.

At this time, MSHP is investigating the crash.
