St Charles, MO (October 23, 2022) – A traffic collision was reported in the St. Charles area that left two people injured on Friday evening. At around 5:04 p.m., on October 21, emergency crews were called to the scene of a crash on Route A.
According to reports provided by the Missouri State Highway Patrol, a 2014 Volkswagen Passat attempted to make a left turn at the intersection of Route A and Edinger Rd. instead, the Volkswagen entered the path of a 2021 Buick enclave, causing the two vehicles to collide. Both vehicles were totaled as a result of the accident.
Two people in the Buick, 50-year-old Angela Step-Gaa and 62-year-old Rodney Gaa, both of Lake St. Louis, Missouri, were injured. The two victims were transported by St. Charles County ambulance District to SSM Health St Joseph Hospital in Lake St Louis, Missouri, where they were treated for injuries.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol is investigating the crash at this time.
