St Joseph, MO – Three Injured in Auto Wreck on I-29 near MM 49.8

St Joseph, MO (October 14, 2022) – Authorities were called to the scene of a crash that took place in Buchanan County that left three people injured. On October 13, the Missouri State Highway Patrol responded to a crash on Interstate 29.

Preliminary reports show that a 2016 Chevrolet Malibu and a 2020 Ford Explorer were both traveling south on Interstate 29 when they became involved in a collision near mile marker 49.8. Both vehicles suffered severe damage in the accident and had to be removed from the scene by area towing companies.

A total of people involved in the accident, identified as 39-year-old Donald Lawrence, 64-year-old Marvin Chrisman, and 65-year-old Kimberly Chrisman, were all injured. EMS transported Marvin Chrisman and Kimberly Chrisman to Mosaic Life Care in St. Joseph, Missouri, where they were treated for their injuries.

The crash remains under investigation at this time.
