St Louis, MO (October 12, 2022) – A traffic crash that took place in St. Louis on Monday evening claimed the life of 34-year-old Kristin Freebersyser of Maryland Heights, Missouri. On October 10, the Missouri State Highway Patrol was dispatched to a collision on Woodson Road.
At around 836 p.m., 45-year-old Michael Jenkins of Overland, Missouri, was driving a 2018 Mercedes-Benz CLA on Woodson Road just north of Tennyson Road. As the Mercedes went off the side of the roadway, it struck a 1993 GMC Sonoma, a 1997 Ford Ranger, a 2014 Honda Ridgeline, a 2017 Ford focus, and a 34-year-old pedestrian.
The pedestrian, who was identified as Freebersyser, suffered fatal injuries in the crash. She was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The driver of the Mercedes, 45-year-old Michael Jenkins, was transported by Community Fire Protection District to SSM Health Depaul Hospital, where he was treated for minor injuries.
The crash remains under investigation at this time.
