White Township, MO (October 10, 2022) – A traffic collision took place in Benton County that left three people with significant injuries. On October 9, the Missouri State Highway Patrol responded to the scene of a crash on Route C.

At around 2:08 a.m., a 2003 Ford F150 pickup truck was traveling westbound on Route C when they became involved in a collision with the 2018 GMC Terrain just .6 miles west of Bell Avenue. The two vehicles collided head-on, resulting in both vehicles being totaled.

Three people involved in the crash suffered significant injuries. EMS rendered aid to 32-year-old Quartnie Breshears and 36-year-old Brett Ross at the scene. The two victims were then transported via Warsaw Lincoln EMS to Golden Valley Hospital, for the treatment of moderate injuries.

The third victim, 56-year-old Andrew Chapman, was transported by air ambulance to University Hospital, where he was treated for serious injuries.

At this time, the crash remains under investigation.
