Car Accidents in Missouri
Crashes occur far too often in the state of Missouri. Quite often, these accidents are caused by acts of negligence. Speeding is the leading cause of car accidents in Missouri, accounting for more than one-third of all accidents. Distraction can also be a major factor in crashes, as drivers can become focused on their phones or other objects instead of the road. Alcohol use is also a major cause of car accidents, with drivers often consuming too much alcohol before getting behind the wheel. Drivers who fail to use safety measures, such as using headlights at night, are also at risk for crashes.
Unfortunately, people involved in accidents are often left with serious injuries. Common injuries reported in crashes include:

- Head and spinal cord injuries: This can cause serious damage to your spine, including spinal cord compression and nerve damage. If you suffer from whiplash, a concussion, or a spinal cord fracture, make sure to see a doctor as soon as possible.
