Branson, MO (September 6, 2022) – A vehicle collision occurred in Taney County on Monday morning that left one man with serious injuries. Just after 9:20 a.m., on September 5, the Missouri State Highway Patrol responded to the scene of a crash on Missouri State Route 165.
Preliminary reports indicate that a yellow 2000 BMW R1150GS motorcycle was traveling on Missouri State Route 165 when he became involved in a collision with a dark green 2013 Hyundai Santa Fe, just five miles south of Branson, Missouri. The motorcycle suffered significant damage due to the accident, requiring it to be towed from the scene.
The driver of the motorcycle, 46-year-old Adam Courtney, suffered serious injuries in the crash. Courtney, who is from Newton, Kansas, was transported to Cox South Hospital in Springfield, Missouri, where he underwent emergency medical care.
Missouri State Highway Patrol is investigating the cause of the crash at this time.
