Liberty, MO – Four Injured in Two-Vehicle Wreck on MO-210 near Route EE

Liberty, MO (September 26, 2022) – A traffic collision took place in Clay County on Saturday morning that left several people injured. At 12:20 a.m., on September 24, troopers with the Missouri State Highway Patrol responded to a crash on Missouri State Route 210.

According to reports provided by MSHP, the driver of a 2011 Jeep Wrangler fell asleep while behind the wheel. As a result, the vehicle collided with a 2019 Dodge Caravan on Missouri State Route 210, just west of Route EE. Both vehicles were totaled as a result of the collision.

Multiple people suffered injuries in the crash. Paramedics provided transportation for 32-year-old Zachary Kolwyck and 64-year-old Kevin Wallace to North Kansas City Hospital, where they underwent medical treatment.

Two other victims, 40-year-old Matthew McDaniel and 48-year-old Kimberly Vannattan, were both transported to liberty Hospital for further care.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol is investigating the circumstances surrounding this accident at this time.
