Car Accidents in Missouri
Injuries from car accidents are all too common. Unfortunately, we see many people left with significant injuries that affect their lives indefinitely. Common injuries that we see reported in crashes across Missouri include:
- Neck pain: When you’re in a car accident, your head can whip around quickly. This can cause neck pain, which often lasts for several days after the accident.
- Spinal cord injuries: If you’re involved in a car accident that causes spinal cord injuries, you may experience paralysis down your entire left side or partial paralysis on one side of your body. This can be extremely debilitating and require long-term care.
- Brain trauma: A car accident can cause serious brain trauma, which can result in serious mental health problems such as PTSD (post-traumatic stress disorder). If you’re involved in a car accident and suffer brain trauma, make sure to get help from a mental health professional.
- Broken bones: In a car accident, bones can easily break – both your own bones and the bones of the people around you. This can lead to extensive fractures that take weeks or even months to heal properly.
