St Charles, MO – Katie Davis & Thomas Davis Transported to Mercy Hospital with Injuries after Route DD crash near Route D

St Charles, MO (September 26, 2022) – A 35-year-old woman and a 40-year-old man were both hospitalized with serious injuries as a result of a traffic incident that occurred in St. Charles County. Just after 2:10 p.m., on September 25, Missouri State Highway Patrol Cpl. DL Bilyeu was dispatched to a collision on Route DD.

Preliminary reports show that the driver of a 2014 Chevrolet 1500 pickup truck lost control of their vehicle while making a right turn on Route DD just south of Route D. As a result, the vehicle slid into the northbound lane and collided with a 2007 Yamaha Star 650. The Yamaha was severely damaged and had to be removed from the scene.

Two people on the Yamaha, identified as Katie Davis and Thomas Davis, both of St. Peter’s, Missouri, were seriously injured. The two victims were transported by St. Charles County ambulance to Mercy Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri, for emergency treatment.

Investigations are underway with the Missouri State Highway Patrol at this time.
