Verona, MO – Sara Reyes Injured in Two-Vehicle Truck Crash on US-60 BUS

Verona, MO (September 10, 2022) – A 27-year-old woman was transported to Cox Hospital and Monett, Missouri, with injuries following a motor vehicle accident that occurred in Lawrence County. At around 4:20 p.m., on September 7, the Missouri State Highway Patrol was notified that a crash took place on US Business Highway 60.

Preliminary investigations indicate that a 2016 Nissan Altima collided with a 1998 Peterbilt on US business Highway 60 during the early evening hours. Both vehicles suffered significant damage as a result of this truck accident. The two vehicles were required to be removed from the scene of the crash by local tow companies.

The driver of the Nissan, 27-year-old Sara Reyes, was injured in the crash. Reyes, who is from Aurora, Missouri, was transported by ambulance to Cox Hospital in Monett, Missouri, for the treatment of moderate injuries.
