Wayland, MO – Three-Vehicle Crash with Injuries Reported on US-136

Wayland, MO (September 22, 2022) – Authorities in Clark County were called to the scene of a crash that left one man injured. Just before 2 p.m., on September 20, calls for assistance came in regarding a crash on US Highway 136.

Preliminary reports show that a 2010 Lexus LS 460 was traveling on US Highway 136 on the vehicle collided with a 2019 Subaru Outback. The Lexus then collided with a 2015 GMC Yukon. All three vehicles were severely damaged and had to be removed from the scene. The Missouri State Highway Patrol and firefighters blocked off the roadway for an extended period.

A 72-year-old man involved in the crash, Richard Dickerson, was injured. Dickerson, who is from Sugargrove, Illinois, was transported to Scotland Memorial Hospital, where he was treated for injuries.

The crash remains under investigation at this time.
