St Charles, MO (December 12, 2021) – One woman was left with moderate injuries following a motor vehicle accident on Thursday evening in St Charles County. At around 5:11 p.m., on December 9, emergency crews were notified that their assistance was needed on-site at a crash on Interstate 70.
Reports from authorities indicate that a 2008 GMC Acadia and a 2008 Chevrolet Impala were both traveling west on Interstate 70. For unknown reasons, the two vehicles collided just east of Missouri State Route 79.
The driver of the Chevrolet, 70-year-old Denise Overall, sustained injuries in the accident. She was transported to SSM Health St Joseph Hospital Lake St Louis for care.
At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
