Lee’s Summit, MO (November 16, 2021) – A traffic-related incident reported in Jackson County ended in injuries, according to local news sources. At around 11:30 a.m., on November 15, emergency crews were notified that their assistance was needed on-site at a crash on Interstate 470.
Reports from the Missouri State Highway Patrol show that a 2008 Toyota Highlander was slowing for traffic on the eastbound side of Interstate 470 near mile marker 8.6. As a result, the vehicle was struck in the rear by a 2022 Land Rover Range Rover.
The impact of the crash totaled both vehicles, requiring them to be towed from the scene.
The driver of the Toyota, 20-year-old Jordan Querner of Lee’s Summit, Missouri, sustained injuries in the accident. He was transported to St. Luke’s East Hospital for care.
