Kansas City, MO (September 10, 2021) – The Kansas City Police Department was called to investigate a serious crash that took place on Friday, September 10.
Officials reported to the scene on Interstate 70 near Interstate 435 and the Truman Sports Complex. Reports show that the two-vehicle crash involving a tractor-trailer happened at about 2:00 p.m.
The eastbound lanes of the highway were blocked for several hours while first responders arrived at the scene. EMS appeared to transport at least one person to an area medical center, though their current condition is unknown.
