Truck Accidents in Missouri
Each year, truck accidents in Missouri leave countless people with injuries. There are many instances where innocent people are harmed as a result of drivers who engage in acts of negligence. Some leading factors in truck accidents across our state include:
- Fatigue: drowsy driving is just as dangerous as drunk driving. When a driver is too tired to operate their vehicle, they may have trouble keeping their eyes open and focusing on the road. They may even end up falling asleep at the wheel.
- Weather conditions: bad weather can make driving conditions more difficult and increase the chance of an accident happening. Ice, snow, fog, and rain can all make it hard to see and navigate safely.
- Construction zones: construction zones can be confusing and dangerous for drivers. Drivers may not know where to go or what to expect, which can lead to accidents.
- Reckless driving: reckless driving includes anything from tailgating to street racing. It is extremely dangerous and puts other drivers at risk.
