Cass Co, MO - Two Injured in Chain Reaction Accident on MO-58
Cass Co, MO (December 19, 2020) - A chain-reaction style accident on MO-58 sent two people to the hospital on Friday, December 18th.
Reports show that the incident took place at about 5:15 p.m. near the MO-291 crossover.
Officials stated that, for reasons that have yet to be determined, a 1999 Chevrolet collided with the back of a 2005 Chevrolet, sending the second vehicle crashing into the rear-end of a 2020 Toyota, which was pushed into the back of a 2013 Hyundai.
The driver of the 1999 Chevrolet, a 39-year-old male from Pleasant Hill, and the driver of the 2020 Toyota, a 60-year-old male from Raymore were transported by South Metro Fire and EMS to Lees Summit Medical Center and Belton Regional Hospital, respectively, with non-life-threatening injuries.
