Sedalia, MO - Elderly Driver Injured in Crash Near Moriarty Ave

Sedalia, MO (December 05, 2020) - An injury accident that was caused by tailgating occurred along MO-52 on Friday, December 4th in the city of Sedalia.

Official reports show that, at about 5:55 p.m., when a 1995 GMC traveling westbound along MO-52 near the intersection of Moriarty Avenue slowed to make a turn, it was rear-ended by a 2000 Mercury that neglected to maintain a safe following distance.

The driver of the GMC, a 78-year-old female from Cole Camp, sustained injuries believed to be non-life-threatening. She was transported to Bothwell Hospital for medical treatment.
