Harris, MO- Man Seriously Injured In Sullivan County Accident
Harris, MO (November 4, 2020)- Two people were injured, one of which sustained serious injuries, in a crash on Tuesday in Sullivan County. The accident occurred around 5:20 p.m. on Highway 139, at Route E, a quarter of a mile north of Harris.
The incident occurred when a 2012 Chevrolet Malibu, driven by 20-year-old Zoe Littleton of Maryville, Missouri, pulled into the path of a 2012 Jeep Cherokee driven by 22-year-old Brady Huffman of Galt, Missouri. The two vehicles collided and ran off the road. The Missouri State Highway Patrol and emergency first responders were called to the scene to aid those who may have been injured.
Littleton suffered minor injuries and was taken by private vehicle to a local hospital to receive treatment. Huffman, however, was seriously injured in the crash and was taken by ambulance to Northeast Regional Medical Center for treatment. The current status of Huffman’s condition is uncertain at this time.
According to the online crash report, both of the injured parties were wearing their seatbelts at the time of the crash.
The accident is being investigated by the Sullivan County Sherrif’s department, Medicine Creek Fire Department, and emergency first responders.
