Joplin, MO – Motorcyclist Critically Injured on S. Maiden Ln

Joplin, MO (November 02, 2020) – A serious accident between a motorcycle and a passenger vehicle took place in the 1800 block of South Maiden Lane on Monday, November 2nd at about 3:15 p.m.

In addition to Joplin Police, the Joplin Fire Department and METS Ambulance also responded to the scene of the accident. Officials stated that the motorcycle was heading southbound along South Maiden Lane when the other vehicle pulled into the roadway directly in front of it.

Immediately upon arriving at the crash site, officers from the Joplin Police Department administered emergency first aid to the man who had been riding the motorcycle. No one from the other vehicle was injured during the collision.

The motorcyclist was transported via ambulance to a local medical facility. His injuries were classified as critical but non-life-threatening.
