Columbia, MO (October 25, 2020) – Two teenage girls were seriously injured during a car crash that took place on Sunday, October 25th in the westbound lanes of Interstate 70.
According to a report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol, a 2007 Ford 500 was heading westbound in the lefthand lane along Interstate 70. For reasons that are yet to be determined, the vehicle veered across the righthand lane and then off the side of the roadway where it crashed into a guardrail before coming to a stop.
The driver and single passenger, both 19-year-old females, were transported via ambulance to Mercy Hospital. Both victims have been listed in critical condition.
This accident remains under investigation by local law enforcement.
