Richmond, MO - Head-On Collision on MO-10 Hospitalizes Four
Richmond, MO (October 17, 2020) - A car accident that put four victims in the hospital took place along MO-10, near the junction for Business 10 on Saturday, October 17th.
An incident report filed by the Missouri State Highway Patrol indicates that the collision occurred at about 10:30 a.m. when, for reasons that have yet to be determined, an eastbound 2011 Chevrolet crossed over the centerline and collided head-on with an oncoming 2001 Jeep.
The 17-year-old female driver of the Chevrolet sustained moderate injuries and was transported to Liberty Hospital via ambulance.
The driver of the Jeep, a 23-year-old male, along with his two female passengers, 21 and 27-years-old, also suffered injuries that were classified as moderate. All three were transferred to area hospitals for emergency medical treatment of their injuries.
This accident remains under investigation by local law enforcement.
