Kansas City, MO – Two-Vehicle Crash on I-70 Results in Injuries
Kansas City, MO (September 22, 2020) – An auto accident in the Kansas City area resulted in injuries on Tuesday evening. At approximately 5:45 p.m., on September 22, the Kansas City Police responded to the scene of a crash on Interstate 70.
According to local news providers, a crash involving two vehicles occurred on the eastbound side of Interstate 70 near the left exit for Highway 7. The crash resulted in complete blocking of the left exit and lanes.
Crews worked for over one hour to clear the scene of the crash and were able to reopen the road by 6:30 p.m.
At least one person involved in the crash was transported to a nearby hospital for treatment of injuries. At this time, the crash remains under investigation with the police in Kansas City.
