Platte City, MO – Ricky Still Injured in Two-Vehicle Crash on I-29
Platte City, MO (September 12, 2020) – A vehicle accident in the Platte City area sent one man to an area hospital with moderate injuries. At around 6:55 p.m., on September 11, the Missouri State Highway Patrol responded to the scene of an accident on Interstate 29.
Reports provided by the MSHP show that 27-year-old Tyler Lynn was driving a 2014 Ford Focus north on Interstate 29 when his vehicle collided with a 2004 GMC Yukon, which was driven by 52-year-old Ricky Still. The impact of the crash sent Still’s vehicle into the concrete median. The vehicle bounced off and stopped in the middle of the road before catching on fire.
Still was seriously injured in the accident. He was rendered aid at the scene and rushed to North Kansas City Hospital for treatment of injuries. At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
