Pike, MO – Teen Seriously Injured in Two-Vehicle Crash on MO-79 near Highway H
Pike, MO (November 15, 2021) – A 19-year-old man was left seriously injured following a traffic-related incident in Pike County on Monday afternoon, November 8. At around 2:20 p.m., authorities were notified that their assistance was needed on-site at a crash on Missouri State Route 79.
Reports from authorities show that a 2014 Chevrolet Cruise was traveling northbound on Missouri State Route 79 when it collided with a southbound 2004 Western Star 4900 near the area of Highway H.
The driver of the Chevrolet, 18-year-old Bradley Wolfangel, sustained injuries in the accident. He was airlifted from the scene of the crash to Mercy Hospital St. Louis for care.
At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
