St. Joseph, MO – Truck Crash on MO-6 near Route Z Leaves One Woman Injured
St. Joseph, MO (November 12, 2021) – Emergency crews were requested at the scene of an accident on Wednesday evening that sent one woman to a local hospital with moderate injuries. On November 10, calls for assistance came in surrounding a crash on Missouri Route 6.
Reports from the Missouri State Highway Patrol indicate that a 2000 International tractor-trailer was heading south on Route Z when the driver failed to yield the right of way to a 1999 Toyota Corolla at the intersection of Route Z. As a result, the two vehicles collided.
The incident caused moderate delays on the highway just 4-miles east of St. Joseph.
The driver of the Toyota, 24-year-old Kailey Huff, sustained moderate injuries in the accident. She was transported to Mosaic Life Care in St. Joseph for emergency medical treatment.
At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
