Kansas City, MO - Deadly Fire at Northwoods Apt on NW 69th Terr Under Investigation
Kansas City, MO (September 10, 2021) - Officers with the Kansas City Police Department say that one person is dead after a fire early Thursday morning, September 9, in the city's Northland.
The incident happened around 1:00 a.m. at the Northwoods Apartments near the intersection of NW 69th Terrace and North Robinson Lane. When crews responded, they discovered two victims, one who was later pronounced dead by the fire department. The other victim was transported to an area hospital with minor injuries.
The Bomb and Arson teams also responded to the scene.
The investigation is ongoing, however, and further details have not been provided.
